How to make a music visualizer video

  1. Build a scene

Pick effects, stack up to eight layers, set colours and plan the video on a timeline with keyframes. The preview reacts to your sound live.

  2. Upload your track

MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC and other common formats, up to 200 MB. The track is deleted as soon as the video is done.

  3. Download the video

We render every frame on our machines. When the video is ready, download it from your account.

Questions

Can I try it for free?

Yes. The free plan gives you a few minutes of 720p video a month, with a watermark. During the beta, all plans cost nothing.

Can I post the videos on YouTube and social media?

Yes, the video is yours. Upload only music you have the rights to.

What resolution and frame rate can I render?

From 720p on the free plan to 4K at 60 frames per second on Studio. The table below shows each plan.

Do I need After Effects or a video editor?

No. The scene, the timeline and the render all happen in Sonviz. You need an editor only if you want to cut the result further.
