02Waves

Every band on the beat

Ribbon layers breathe with the bass, bars spread the spectrum from lows to hats, and the color slowly travels around the wheel. One studio scene — no code.

03Sphere

Volume that listens

The sphere turns on the beats, flinches on the kicks and sheds sparks. Wireframe, points, trail and color are sliders in the studio.

04Words

Speak — and the words drift to the horizon

Star Wars–style crawl from your voice, in real time. Turn on the microphone and read something out loud.

About music visualizer videos

Studio

One studio for live and video

19 effects, dozens of presets, layers, colours and a timeline in one window. The preview is exactly what OBS shows and what your video will look like.

Sonviz studio: sand assembles the sonviz logo, figure and intro settings on the right
Live: the studio preview is exactly what OBS will show.

Three steps

How it works

  1. 01

    Build a scene

Pick effects, stack layers, set colours and a timeline. The studio previews everything live on your sound: a microphone, a line input, or the audio of a tab or your screen.

  2. 02

    Add the link to OBS

Paste your channel link into a Browser source. Up to nine channels, one per scene.

  3. 03

    Go live or render

Stream with the overlay, or send the project to render and download the video when it is ready.

What the picture follows

Effects follow the beat, the tempo and the energy in each frequency band — the kick, the bass line, the hats — so the motion lands where you hear it.

Your sound stays with you

In live mode the studio sends the overlay only the analysis of your audio — numbers, not sound — over a direct connection inside your computer. Our server only introduces the two windows to each other. When you render a video, the track is deleted as soon as the video is done.

Pricing

Plans

The live overlay is free for everyone. Plans are for rendering video: during the beta they cost nothing, and prices come with the public launch.

FAQ

Questions

Do I need an OBS plugin?

No. The visualizer is a regular Browser source: paste one link into OBS Studio and it appears in your scene. Nothing to install, nothing to update.

Will the overlay slow down my stream?

The overlay is drawn by your own graphics card inside OBS, like any browser source. Most effects are light, and the studio shows the overlay's frame rate so you can check it on your machine.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The studio runs in Chrome or Edge, and the overlay is a Browser source in OBS Studio.

Can I try the visualizer online for free?

Yes. The demo at the top of this page is the real engine: switch on your microphone or share a browser tab with music, and the picture follows the sound. The overlay for OBS is free on every plan.

Can I make vertical videos for Shorts, Reels and TikTok?

Yes. Set the frame size in the studio — 1080×1920 for vertical, 1920×1080 or 4K for YouTube — and the scene keeps its look at any size.

Which audio can I render?

MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC and other common formats, up to 200 MB per track. Upload only music you have the rights to.

What language is the studio in?

The studio is in English, Russian and Kazakh. French, German and Spanish are on the way.
